You don’t understand an antagonist until you understand why he’s a protagonist in his own version of the world.

Anonymous asked: Hello Sam, what is your view on love relationships? is the soul mate a real thing..if so how do you know? Is a soul mate someone actually from a past life? What are your thoughts on intimacy. Should one stay pure till marriage.

samsaranmusing-deactivated20140:

Soulmates are indeed a real thing. One theory is that we recognize in others those who we have loved in the past. We can tell a soul mate because we are instantly familiar with them. We know their laugh. We know their habits without knowing them. Should one stay “pure” till marriage? That is up to you. If you come from a religious tradition which values this then by all means stay chaste. However, sex does not make one “impure”. Sex is a form of physical love which is as pure as you make it. Sex which is harmful, cruel or degrading is impure. Sex between lovers is as pure as the water from the clearest mountain spring.

Anonymous asked: Hi, Sam My question is regarding soul mates. Do you think that once you found your soul mate or have a feeling that one particular person might be it. You should try to communicate with them no matter how difficult? Honest opinion? Please thank you!

samsaranmusing-deactivated20140:

My belief is that we may have more than one “soul mate”. You see, and this is just my opinion, I believe that we are each a tapestry made up of threads of a great soul and that these threads weave in and out life progresses. We recognize not just former loves but also friends and even competitors. So, if you feel that attraction you should make contact. Remember though, not every familiar stranger is a soul mate. Sam.

I think the big mistake in schools is trying to teach children anything, and by using fear as the basic motivation. Fear of getting failing grades, fear of not staying with your class, etc. Interest can produce learning on a scale compared to fear as a nuclear explosion to a firecracker.
